Our tailwheel academy provides the student with scenario based training that will lay a foundation for tailwheel aircraft operations. This course is perfect for learners in most stages of their career.

After the completion of this course you will be proficient in the Bellanca 8KCAB, the basics of tailwheel aircraft operations, and receive a logbook entry showing completion and proficiency. This course includes and covers:

- 10 hours of flight time
- 10 hours of ground
- Tailwheel ground operations
- Steep Turns
- Stalls
- Slips
- Normal takeoffs and landings
- Crosswind takeoffs and landings
(Normal and Crosswind 3 point and wheel)
- Short field takeoffs and landings
- Soft field takeoffs and landings


Additional time can be purchased at a rate of:
Aircraft: $190/hr
Instructor: $75/hr
